Since this is the year that most of us turn 60, we thought we would give ourselves a birthday party.  Jana Hodges Tyson has graciously offered her and Jimmy's farm as the site for this event.  This is for classmates and spouses only.  You will need to bring your own lawn chairs and any cooler/drinks that you may want for the afternoon.  Also bring your favorite snack and we will pool these for the afternoon "munchies".  There is a place to fish if anyone is interested but bring your own "fishing gear". It will officially begin at 1 pm but just get there when you can.  We will eat supper at 5 pm, which will be provided for you. The charge will be 12.50 per person (25. couple) for the day.  Please respond yes or no to this invitation and mail your check, payable to AHS Class of '68, to me: Jana McCourry   1330 Elizabeth Court    Anniston, AL 36207 We need to have your response and money by May 29, 2010.  That is not a lot of time for you to procrastinate, so please, respond quickly and by the deadlne. I just wanted to say thank you to everyone that attended our 40th reunion.  It was so good to see everyone again.  So far, all I have heard is compliments and no complaints.  I truly believe that everyone present had a GOOD TIME !!!!  Even the spouses enjoyed themselves and have been very complimentary.

Thank you to Lynn & Fred Chapman for opening their home to us on Friday night.  God blessed us with good weather (no rain) and not too hot. 

I want to especially thank the committee for all their hard work.  All your work and cooperation is greatly appreciated.  Everyone had a task to do and did their task very well !!!!!   Thank you Linda for the beautiful way that you remembered our "deceased" classmates.  Thank you Billy Wayne for providing the music for the evening and for making our group picture.

Again, thanks to everyone for coming.  See you all in 5 years (2013).

We plan to continue this site after the reunion. I would like to make it more interactive. If you are interested in being able to initiate a post instead of just replying to one, send me an email and I'll set you up as an author.

I think this might work better than using a message board. Spammers have to much fun posting on those.

We will be having two get-togethers. On Friday July 18th, 6:00 PM we will meet at Fred Chapman's home and then on Saturday we'll be at Classics on Noble also at 6. If you need directions you can post a request here or email us with the link on this page.
